A sporty workshop for Swiss Kids in Hong Kong!
(Age 7-14 years)
The Swiss School Committee is looking forward to the second workshop in 2025 to familiarize our children with Swiss traditions and to help them form new friendships or strengthen existing ones.
"Explore Switzerland" is a sporty workshop led by an experienced Swiss Teacher and takes place at GSIS in the Primary Building on the Peak. Any Swiss child aged 7-14 years can participate, regardless of which school they attend in Hong Kong.
The program guarantees a fun and educational experience in learning in a sporty way more about Switzerland, along with the enjoyment of tasty Swiss snacks and drinks during the short break.
We will work without parents during this workshop and the children should come in comfortable sport clothes and sport shoes and bring their own water bottle. The workshop is tailored for children aged 7 to 14. Kindly note, that we are unable to accommodate younger children for this workshop.
If you are a Non-Member and sign up for a SAHK annual membership (HKD 450.- per family and calendar year) your child/children can attend this workshop and the coming workshops for free.

Program:
2:50pm | Meeting at GSIS Upper Building Entrance
A representative from the Swiss School Committee will welcome the children at the entrance and escort them to the sports hall. Parents can drop off their children and enjoy some free time. Kindly note that we will conduct the workshop without parents.
3:00pm | Sporty Workshop Starts
The children will learn more about Switzerland by actively participating in activities in the sports hall. During the break, they will enjoy some tasty Swiss snacks and drinks.
5:00 pm | Workshop Ends
The children will be escorted back to the entrance of the GSIS Primary Building. We will take a “farewell picture” and the parents and/or caretakers can come to collect the children at the same place they have dropped them off.
